The formative years...

Greg Aikens born on June 14, 1988 as Gregory Paul Aikens Jr.

Growing up his mother (Darla J. Young) was attending college to become a Registered nurse and spent a lot of his time at his grandma and grandpa's (Judy G. and Merle E. Aikens) house where he started to fall in love with country music. His grandpa would always have the country stations on in the truck when they would take rides in the country or just to the store. His father was a flooring specialist/installer and his dad would sometimes take him to his job. He learned how to install carpet from just helping his father from time to time. Even though it's hard to tell where he got his musical roots from (since no one else in the family has any music ability), he still continues to impress crowds. He started singing at the
age of 15. Ever since, he has dedicated most of his time to music. Spending countless hours in his bedroom driving his family completely crazy. He also took up vocal lessons from Barbara Moore in Reynoldsville, PA (Who he highly recommends) to improve his voice even more. He grew up a very quite child that wouldn't even say a word in kindergarten. Throughout elementry school he was very shy as he would only speak if he was called upon. Though throughout middle school and high school he gradually started to become more talkative. Teachers and friends still find it hard to believe that he gets up onstage in front of crowds and sings his heart out. He has a great voice and is a really great person. He has a lot of potential to make it in the music industry and the commitment. He is bound to be a country artist.
